A monthly envelope full of tiny moments of joy. For anyone to enjoy, The Pottering Post is not a knit or crochet focused letter.

Life can feel like one long to-do list.

There’s always another email to answer, another load of washing to do, another job waiting to be done. Somewhere along the way I started to forget that it’s okay to spend a little time doing something simply because it makes me smile. At the same time life often feels dominated by screens and the advances made by AI that threaten the human creativity we love to celebrate leaving me longing for something real, something I can hold in my hands.

The Pottering Post was created with these thoughts in mind.

Every month a quirky envelope will arrive through your letterbox, filled with little paper treasure designed to encourage you to get cosy and enjoy some time that belongs entirely to you.

No pressure.

No productivity.

No guilt.

Just a little permission to potter.

Inside each month’s post you’ll receive a copy of The Pottering Post, featuring a letter from me, Laura, a Pottering Prompt, a monthly Hyperfocus Rabbit Hole and a little reminder to potter.

Alongside each letter you’ll find:

✉️A minimum of 2 stickers.

✉️A mini calendar.

✉️A memory journaling card.

✉️An activity- think wordsearch, a puzzle, or perhaps a maze- a mini activity to do while the kettle boils.

✉️ The membership sticker of the month to be added to your membership card.

✉️ Mabel’s Monthly Potter- A column written for each month by our resident Mail Snail, Mabel.

✉️ All packaged in a printed envelope and handmade packaging that changes each month.

Your first letter will include a sticker membership card, and if you provide your birthday month in the notes box at checkout when signing up then you’ll receive a special birthday sticker on your birthday month letter.

Everything in your envelope is lovingly designed and made by Laura and packed by hand here at FOLK Yarn Studio.

Whether you’re a stationery lover, a journal or diary keeper, someone who loves receiving happy post, or simply someone who could do with a gentle reminder to take life a little more slowly, The Pottering Post is for you.

The Pottering Post Subscription Information

• Delivered once a month.
• Cancel or pause whenever you like.
• New illustrations and exclusive content every month.
• Posted in a C6 envelope that fits through standard letterboxes.
• Postage is included in the cost of your subscription. All UK letters are sent using a 2nd class Royal Mail Stamp.

The Pottering Post works as a subscription that is billed one month in advance. So if you sign up anytime in August your first envelope will be the September letter, which ships in the first week of September. If you sign up anytime in September your first envelope will be the October letter, which ships in the first week of October.
